Bicycles in a Row – San Diego, Signed Art Print by RD Riccoboni

I was walking through my neighborhood when I came upon this colorful scene. Vivid beach cruisers lean in a sun-splashed row against the warm brick of a San Diego bicycle shop in Bicycles in a Row. I'm honored that this painting won the American Art Award for Best in Still Life, 2015. I wanted the green, red, orange, and yellow frames to shimmer with light and energy, a joyful tribute to California's outdoor spirit and the color-drenched streets of San Diego.

I painted it in my impressionist style so every spoke and handlebar would feel like it's moving. When you walk past it, something unexpected happens: the wheels seem to turn toward you. It's become one of my most celebrated works, and collectors keep coming back to it.
