I painted Gone With The Bicycle Lanes as a bold, vibrant scene from my original story, Knights of the Vermillion Rose. Two figures face each other in an electric moment, surrounded by swirling flames of orange and gold against a luminous yellow-green ground. I wanted the energy to feel passionate, cinematic, and completely alive with color.

A lot of folks don’t know that I write stories. One day it occurred to me: Why not paint pictures of my characters? These two are from my romantic comedy, Knights of the Vermillion Rose. Read the book here.
